The Shenzhen’s intellectual property rights conference was held at WuZhou Guest House in the afternoon of April 20th, 2009. Mr. Xu Zhongheng and Mr. Xu Xing, the mayors of Shenzhen and other leaders attended this meeting and drew up the plans for the following works. SAE with other 20 companies won the title of “Shenzhen’s intellectual property rights superiority enterprise”.

 It is reported that, in 2008, the amount of patent applications in Shenzhen has reached 36,249 pieces, including 18,757 inventive patent applications which ranked 2nd place in China; furthermore, PCT international patent applications occupied 50% of the whole country for five consecutive years and won first in China. All of those demonstrated that Shenzhen has achieved remarkable success in promoting the development of intellectual property rights.

 The “intellectual property rights superiority enterprise” is based on the relevant provisions of “The Interim Measures for the Administration of Shenzhen Special Funds for Intellectual Property Right” (Shen [2005] No.37), which aims to actively implement intellectual property strategies, encourage the qualified enterprises to improve their intellectual property rights system and play the advantages role of the exemplary and leading enterprises in the city. Accordingly, in this good atmosphere for intellectual property rights, independent innovation will promote more high-tech industry development.

 Over the years, SAE insisted on its own R & D, technological innovation, and developed a number of video surveillance products with patented technology and independent intellectual property rights. This award fully demonstrated that the protection work of intellectual property rights in SAE was approved by Shenzhen government.

 Determined as a "world-class security enterprise "with national brand, participating in international competition, SAE still has a long way to go. Hence, all the people in SAE have to seize this opportunity to continue the efforts on product innovation and R & D devote to enhance the product development capacity and contribute to the strength of intellectual property.
